Government Measures

Subsidy Schemes under Anti-epidemic Fund​

To provide relief to retailers to help tide them over their financial difficulties during this challenging time, the Government will launch the Retail Sector Subsidy Scheme (the Scheme) under the Anti-epidemic Fund (the Fund) on March 23 (Monday):

  • Retail Sector Subsidy Scheme under Anti-epidemic Fund - Each eligible retail store will receive a one-off subsidy of $80,000.

  • Application for the Food Licence Holders Subsidy Scheme under the Anti-Epidemic Fund - A one-off subsidy of $200,000 will be provided to eligible licence holders of the premises in operation including general restaurants, marine restaurants and factory canteens; and a subsidy of $80,000 will be provided to eligible licence holders of the premises in operation including light refreshment restaurants, fresh provision shops, food factories, bakeries and siu mei and lo mei shops. Working Family

Allowance

Application for Working Family Allowance (WFA) is on a household basis (including singleton households). Under the WFA Scheme, a household meeting the working hour requirements, income and asset limits may apply for a Basic Allowance, Medium Allowance or Higher Allowance. Each eligible child may also be eligible for a Child Allowance. Depending on the household income, the allowances may be granted at full rate, ¾ rate or half rate.

因應目前抗疫防疫的需要,以下銀行均推出了各項金融服務支持措施,以支援中小企零售商解決金融應急。

如果員工不幸染病被強制隔離,扣薪是否合法?

符合資格 可獲4/5工資

參考政府2月8日的新聞公報,政府在有關人士強制家居或其他住所檢疫14天的安排,如僱員被生主任要求或命令接受檢疫,生主任會向該僱員發出醫生證明書。假若僱主收到僱員提交的醫生證明書,僱主必須要根據《僱傭條例》或僱員的僱傭合約,向僱員發放病假。僱員病假是否有薪要視乎以下條件:

僱員能出示適當的註冊中醫、註冊西醫或註冊牙醫的醫生證明書;

放取的病假不少於連續4天;

僱員已累積足夠的有薪病假日數。

如僱員符合資格,可獲取相等於僱員每日平均工資的4/5,假如僱員不符合資格,便不可獲取有薪病假,缺勤日子可按值扣除,但僱主也可體恤和諒解有關僱員的情況而發放有薪病假。
